World Pride
On June 26th, 2014, I was honoured to be an Officiant when Toronto welcomed 115 same-sex couples to celebrate their love and their right to marriage equality at the iconic Casa Loma.
This World Pride event began with North America's largest mass ceremony, with blessings from 12 Officiants from all faiths. I cannot express how honoured I felt to be part of both this ceremony and to stand on the stage with these spiritual leaders - trail blazers of union. The ceremony had the first Sikh in history to give a blessing at a same-sex ceremony. I legally married 9 couples pro bono following the ceremony.
I continue to honour my pledge to #loveislove and provide free weddings to couples travelling to Canada from countries where marriage equality is not accepted. World Pride Video Here.
